Acceptd is a growing SaaS company offering a premier audition and marketing platform to arts organizations (colleges, competitions, symphonies/orchestras, summer arts programs, and more) that allows them to evaluate candidates and attract more diverse applicants while addressing the issues and challenges facing arts organizations today more efficiently. We are seeking an experienced sales specialist who possesses a quantifiable record of success with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals. Experience in the Arts market space is highly desirable but not a requirement. This role will require some travel.
Responsibilities
Employ effective selling techniques including creative lead generation tactics, strong writer & communicator both verbally & written for follow-ups, thoughtful stewardship of the sales pipeline, and productive questioning and digital demonstration strategies.
Maintain expert product knowledge around Acceptd’s technologies and factors influencing the market & industry in general.
Exhibits outstanding, strategic, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Present the value of Acceptd’s offerings and services to prospective clients in order to secure them as a new client.
Continually optimize processes, using platforms such as Salesforce & Microsoft Office Suite to drive efficiencies within a small team environment.
Demonstrates superb administrative and organizational abilities to develop timelines, meet deadlines, and effectively manage numerous prospective clients and internal projects.
Requirements
Self-Starter that enjoys “Making The Ask.”
Experience with prospective clients and comfortable discussing money/pricing by providing creative solutions & answers to objections that benefit the company.
Superior active listener that can identify & address the clients potential pain points.
Experience multi-tasker that simultaneously explain complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing
Ability to read the room to understand and determine a person’s demeanor & personality.
High Social & Emotional Intelligence can anticipate changes and determine a person’s demeanor & personality.
Authentic, Creative, and Confident when interacting with prospective clients.
Excellent verbal and written skills

A Background in the Arts is not required but is preferred.
2+ years of sales experience or similar and at least a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
