We are seeking a Sales Specialist to sell established software as a service and digital marketing resources designed to address issues and challenges facing arts organizations (colleges, competitions, symphonies/orchestras, summer arts programs, and more) today. The ideal candidate will possess a quantifiable record of success with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals. This role may require some travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Employ effective selling techniques including creative lead generation tactics, strong written reach outs & follow-ups, thoughtful stewardship of the sales pipeline, and productive questioning and digital demonstration strategies that lead to a close
  • Maintain expert product knowledge around Acceptd’s technologies and factors influencing the market environment
  • Exhibit outstanding, strategic, and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Present the value of Acceptd’s offerings and service to clients in order to secure them as a new client
  • Continually optimize processes, using platforms such as Salesforce, Groove, & G-Suite, to drive efficiencies within a small team
  • Demonstrate superb organizational and administrative abilities to develop timelines, meet deadlines, and effectively manage numerous prospective clients and internal projects

Sales Skills:

  • Self-starter that enjoys “making the ask”
  • Comfortable discussing money/pricing and provides creative solutions and answers to objections that benefit the company and the prospective client
  • Is a good listener and is able to gain an accurate sense of the potential client’s pain
  • Able to explain complex ideas in a concise and clear manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Can quickly determine a person's demeanor & personality and is able to appropriately relate with a variety of personalities (High Social and Emotional Intelligence)
  • Is authentic, creative, and confident when interacting with prospective clients

  • Learns quickly in a tech-driven environment and is motivated to meet aggressive goals
  • Entrepreneurial, volunteers for new challenges, and exhibits a high level of initiative (sees and solves issues before being told)
  • Teachable, seeks out continual growth both personal and professional, and welcomes constructive feedback
  • Enjoys working alongside creative people in an open and collaborative virtual office where we celebrate the success of others before our own success
  • 2+ years of sales experience or similar and at least a bachelor’s degree is preferred

Employment Options:

  • This role can either be W2 (salaried with benefits) if the employee resides in Ohio or 1099 (hourly without benefits) if the employee resides outside of Ohio.
