Acceptd – EU/UK/Switzerland Supplemental Privacy Notice

This EU/UK/Switzerland Supplemental Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) describes how GetAcceptd, LLC and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“Company,” “we,” “us” and “our”) collects and processes “personal data” as defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), any national law of an EU member state adopted pursuant to the GDPR, the United Kingdom Data Protection Act of 2018, and the Switzerland Federal Act on Data Protection (collectively, “Data Protection Laws”), including through your visits to all of the websites and mobile applications we operate (collectively, the “Site”), our legal basis for processing personal data, and certain rights you may have under Data Protection Laws relating to your personal data. This Privacy Notice supplements our Website Privacy Policy, located at https://cms.getacceptd.com/privacy-policy (“Website Privacy Policy”) and applies to our processing of personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

With respect to “personal data” as defined by Data Protection Laws, the responsible controller is Company.

Please note that we also act as processors for our customers and maintain, store and/or process the personal data of our customer’s constituents and clients on our customers’ behalf when our customers use our Services. Such information is not subject to this Privacy Notice and is instead subject to the privacy policies of our customers.

If you are a constituent or client of one of our customers, please submit your requests to exercise your rights directly to such customer.

We employ technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of information submitted through the Site and/or the Services. However, the security of information transmitted through the Internet can never be guaranteed. We are not responsible for any interception or interruption of any communications through the Internet or for changes to or losses of data. Users of the Site are responsible for maintaining the security of any password, user ID or other form of authentication involved in obtaining access to password protected or secure areas of any of our Site. In order to protect us, you and your data, we may suspend your use of the Site, without notice if any breach of security is suspected. Access to and use of password protected and/or secure areas of the Site are restricted to authorized users only. Unauthorized access to such areas is prohibited.
