April 2017 Acceptd Partner Update

Published April 29th, 2017

Dear Partners,

It's been a busy spring for the Acceptd team as well as for many of you! Summer is just around the corner and we're already planning for your next application cycles. In this month's update, we are excited to bring you up to speed on a few things that will help you gear up for next year including new tech enhancements, a webinar on streamlining your application processes, and some tips for having a knock-out logo on your Acceptd landing page. Happy reading!

April Tech Enhancements

Structuring Your Programs: We're excited to announce that we have introduced further customization when it comes to organizing and structuring your programs. This feature will allow you to use just a single drop down on your landing page instead of conforming to our two drop down structure. In addition, for those programs with increased filter needs, we can categorize your programs more efficiently now.

Work with our Account Relations team to determine how to best structure your programs going forward as we dive into re-setups for your next application cycle!

Retargeting: Our new retargeting feature allows our marketing partners to gain even more exposure among artists who are engaging with their landing page. When participating in a marketing campaign with Acceptd, artists who view your landing page will start seeing your organization listed under "Recommendations for you" in their account.

This is an excellent way to keep you on their radar and increase your applications! If you are interested in learning more about this new feature and how it can benefit you, contact accountrelations@getacceptd.com.

Partner Spotlight

Last month we welcomed a new partner to the Acceptd family: Rachel Barton Pine Foundation.

The Rachel Barton Pine Foundation is a charitable organization providing services and funding for classical music education, research, performances, and artists, to benefit listeners and learners alike. Current projects include an instrument loan program, grants for education and career, support of classical music programs in developing nations, and creation of a supplemental curriculum of music for strings by composers of African descent.

We are so glad to be working with Rachel Barton Pine Foundation and organizations like it that are dedicated to making artists' dreams possible! Click here to check out their landing page and learn more about their programs.

Tip of the Month

Let's talk logos! Your logo is a visual cornerstone of your organization's brand. If you want to make a lasting impression on students and artists applying for your programs, having a strong logo in Acceptd is crucial. When referring to logos in our platform, we mean a visually appealing thumbnail that reads well when it's small. The Account Relations team has come up with a few tips to make sure your logo, or  "thumbnail",  is optimally formatted for the Acceptd platform.

Tip 1: Make sure your logo is sized to 250pixels by 250pixels to best fit in the "profile picture" of your landing page.

Tip 2: Use a logo that will be highly recognizable. If your organization has multiple logo formats, choose one with minimal text.  See the Rachel Barton Pine Foundation logos below. The logo on the right is ideal for both sizing and recognizability in the Acceptd platform.
