August 2016 Feature Enhancements

Published August 12th, 2016

Dear Partners,

For those of you on the academic calendar, welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful, relaxing summer and are ready to get back in the swing of things.

Read below to learn about some exciting new feature enhancements that are now available this year. Our team has been hard at work creating features to further enhance the adjudication and review process for you!

Notes Area for Ratings

Need your Reviewers to elaborate on their specific ratings? Now they can! In addition to the regular Comments section, you can now elect to populate a separate Notes area for each of your rating criteria. Use this feature for all, some, or none of your ratings… it’s up to you!

My Rating Progress

Tracking your adjudication progress has never been easier! A brand new column titled “My Rating Progress” is now available for you and your Reviewers to add to your submissions table. This feature displays the percentage of rating criteria that you have completed for each application. For example: If an application has 4 rating criteria and you have only marked scores for 2 of those, the “My Rating Progress” column will display as 50% complete!

If you and your Reviewers would like to utilize this new feature, we recommend creating a custom saved view with this column included so you can come back to it at any time. Click here to learn how to customize your table and save a table view!

Customizable Default Saved View

Once you create and save a custom table view, you now have the option to set it as your default view! This means that each time you log into your Acceptd account, your table will display this default view automatically, instead of “Total” applications. Take advantage of this new enhancement if you have a certain set of columns and information that you prefer to see when you login to review submissions.

Tags Viewable to Reviewers

You have always had the ability to tag your applications, and we have now introduced the ability for Reviewers to see them in their submissions table! If you create tags and then tag your applications, this column will populate in your Reviewers’ submissions table automatically. This column was not previously available to your Reviewers, so be sure to utilize tags this upcoming application cycle to communicate different application details, notes, or statuses.

Not familiar with tagging? Click here to read more about how to use this awesome feature!
