August 2017 Acceptd Partner Update

Published August 8th, 2017

Dear Partners,

Salvador Dali once said "A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others." As the summer comes to an end and we begin to open our arms to welcome a new season, the Acceptd team has taken a moment to reflect on how important the role that Organizations like yours play in the lives of artists in our Network. Day-in and day-out, you orchestrate a beautiful symphony of inspiring, teaching, guiding and emboldening artists young and old, new students or experienced professionals, all around the world. You inspire the great Masters of tomorrow who will go on to inspire the Masters of future generations. We offer a humble THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication to the Arts and are deeply honored to partner with you in a small part of that process.

As always, we are excited to give you tech updates to add to your Account Owner toolkits so you can continue to increase your agility within our platform. Read on to strengthen your scheduling skills, familiarize yourself with new functionality in the system, and learn about how our marketing team is using social advertising to connect our partners to potential artists.

Go and inspire!

Warmly,
Your friends at Acceptd

New Tech Enhancements

Dual Roles: In Summer 2016 we unveiled the ability to use the same account to access multiple organizations. Now we're excited to announce that you are now able to use your account as an Applicant and Account Owner/Program Manager/Reviewer. To activate your new applicant account, you can navigate to "My Account" and "Create an Applicant Account" in your menu. Moving forward you can switch between all of your accounts from your menu!

Expandable Columns: We're always working to improve the functionality of the Acceptd tables! Our newest feature allows you to expand the columns in your table to display more of the information needed. To expand or shrink a column, click on the bottom right corner of the column header and drag the column to your desired width.

Custom Audiences

Have you ever noticed that ads for your favorite brands are always showing up on your social media feeds, apps and websites? This advertising strategy, known as Custom Audiences, allows advertisers to target specific individuals on more than 90% of online activities. And.. it's great for student recruitment. By uploading a list of your best application prospects to an advertising network like Google or Facebook, you can get your message to those exact students when they are using texting apps, Instagram or visiting any of the 2 million websites that serve Custom Audience ads.
Ready to reach your prospect list, without sending them another email? Or ready to leverage Acceptd's audience of 250,000 students to reach your ideal prospects? Contact your Account Relations Specialist or marketing@getacceptd.com to learn more!

Meet the Account Relations Team

The moment of truth has arrived. Here are the Three Musketeer(ettes?) that work with you day-to-day to help you manage your account and navigate the Acceptd waters!

(from left to right: Bryn Sowash, Hannah Lawrence, Emily Brown)

Bryn Sowash: A pianist and guitarist, swing dancer and former theatre educator, Bryn represents the performing arts at Acceptd. In her other life as an outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and cycling. When the mountains aren't calling, the Irish jam sessions are.

Hannah Lawrence: A former sculpture major -turned- communication major -turned- AmeriCorps member, Hannah adds visual arts, PR, and community organization experience to the Account Relations trio. An adventurer-at-heart, Hannah loves to trail run, ride her Vespa around the city with her husband, and camp under the stars. She will be outside unless there is coffee inside.

Emily Brown: A 4-year veteran of the Acceptd AR Team and a fierce competitor on the Acceptd Aces (our afterwork volleyball team), Emily brings a background in Education to the Acceptd team. Outside of the office, Emily loves to sharpen her yoga and swimming skills, hang out with her family, and love on her fur baby, Champ.
