January 2017 Acceptd Partner Update

Published January 30th, 2017

Dear Partners,

Happy New Year! We hope your 2017 is off to a wonderful start.

We have already hit the ground running this year, so please read below for new technology updates, training & webinar information, and tips!

January Tech Enhancements

Auto-Populating Age: No need to include an "Age" question in your applications anymore -- our "Date of Birth" questions now automatically populate the applicant's age for you! The age will be listed right next to the date of birth question when reviewing applications, as shown below.

You will also have a column available to add to your submissions table, which displays the age information.

Stage Comments: Reviewers can now view their comments directly in the submissions table! A new "Comments" column is available for each round of adjudication that you have. This will display any comments a Reviewer has made for individual applications. Want more good news? This means your Reviewers can export their own comments if they include this column in their table before clicking the "Export" button!

Adjudication Saved Confirmation: Any time you submit a rating, note, or comment within an application, a new banner will appear at the top of the page. This provides you with visual confirmation that your adjudication has been saved!

Upcoming Webinars & Orientations

At Acceptd, we do not simply want to provide a service to you, but rather truly partner with you every step of the way. In an effort to better come alongside you, the Account Relations team is currently working on creating a webinar series for our partners this year, which we will be launching in March! These webinars will take place every other month and focus on specific topics to assist during your application and recruitment cycle, digging deeper into subjects like building your brand, streamlining your application process, and audition scheduling best practices. We are thrilled to have this additional resource for you, so please stay tuned for more details!

Aside from those webinars, we also host monthly "Acceptd Orientations!" These orientations give an introduction to Acceptd and provide you with a basic, updated training of the system. Whether you are a seasoned Acceptd user who simply needs a refresher, or a brand new partner who is new to the system, we welcome you to join in! The next Acceptd Orientation will take place on Wednesday, February 8th at 1pm Eastern. If you, any your reviewers, or faculty members would like to join, please send an email to accountrelations@getacceptd.com and we can add you to the list!

Did You Know?

Acceptd exists not only to serve you and your organization, but also all of your applicants and other artists out there looking to join programs like yours! In light of that, this year we created a Summer Guide to share with all of the artists in our network as they sort through all of the different workshops, intensives, and other program options for Summer 2017. We are excited to provide this guide as a valuable resource for advice on how to find, choose, and get the most out of a perfect summer program!

Tip of the Month

Your deadlines may have passed, but we know from experience that does not mean your applicants stop reaching out! One of the most common inquiries we receive from our partners this time of year is: "How do I allow my applicants to make changes to their applications now that the deadline is over?" We have the answer(s) for you!

If you want to allow applicants to make changes to a fully submitted application after the deadline, here is what to do:

  • If you already know what changes the applicant wants to make, you can edit the application yourself and make those changes for them!
  • If you want the applicant to make the appropriate changes themselves, reopen the application so the applicant can make changes and resubmit.

If you want to allow applicants to submit after the deadline and they currently have an in progress application, here is what to do:

  • Bypass the deadline for those certain in progress applicants! This feature allows you to individually allow certain applicants to submit even after your hard deadline has passed.

Our Account Relations team is here to help if you have questions about any of the above features! Contact us at accountrelations@getacceptd.com and we can assist.

Questions or Feedback?
