October Update: 5 Most Common Partner Inquiries

Published October 28th, 2016

Dear Partners,

Many of your programs are now live, which means applications will start rolling in! This also means that you may encounter some common scenarios or start receiving more inquiries from your applicants. Below is a list of 5 questions that we often hear from our partners. The solutions below should guide you through what to do as these questions arise!

Q: How do I let an applicant submit after the deadline?

A: You have a couple of options for this scenario!

  1. Extend your hard deadline: Use this option if you want to allow all of your applicants to submit late. In your Acceptd account, under Manage Organization and Programs, you can enter in a new, later hard deadline for any of your programs, which will give your applicants some extra time to submit.  hard-deadline
  2. Use the ‘Bypass Deadline’ button: Use this option if you want to allow only specific applicants to submit late. In your Submissions table under the “In Progress” view, check the boxes next to those specific applicants whom you would like to submit late, then click the orange “Bypass Deadline” button that pops up. Once you do this, the applicants you selected will be able to submit at any time past the deadline. Please note that this action is irreversible.bypass-deadline

Q: How do I make changes to a submitted application?

A: As an Account Owner or Program Manager, you are able to edit submitted applications as needed. When viewing an application, click the gray “Edit Application” button, which brings the application fields into edit mode. You can then adjust any answers, add additional text, documents, or other files, and save the application.edit-app

Q: Many of my users have forgotten their password. How can I help them?

A: Not to worry! Use the options below to help.

  1. Any user can click on ‘Forgot Password’ on the login screen at https://app.getacceptd.com. They can simply enter their email address and we will send them a link to reset their password.forgot-password
  2. If you are an Account Owner, you can send users a ‘forgot password’ link as needed! Navigate to the Manage Organization section from your menu, then select the Users option. Check the box next to the users who need their password reset, then click the orange “Send Forgot Password” button that appears.send-forgot-password
  3. If you have already used the two options above and your users are not receiving the password reset email, please reach out to us at accountrelations@getacceptd.com and we will be happy to help!

Q: How do I download the application data?

A: Use our export feature to download any application data you would like into a CSV spreadsheet.

  1. First, add any columns of data you would like to your Submissions table by clicking the Columns button. In this window you can select, unselect, and reorder columns as you would like them to appear in your table/export.
  2. Once your table looks exactly as you would prefer, click the Export button. Select ‘Export Application Table’ when prompted; you will receive an email with the download link to your export. You can export at any time!exporting

A: Utilize the experts on our Support Team! Our friendly and knowledgeable team is here to answer any applicant questions, and they are happy to assist with any issues your applicants encounter. Pass the contact information for our Support Team on to your applicants and they will take it from there!
